Naad Trust started a unique music festival featuring a very rare genre of Indian music called Gurmat Sangeet. Gurmat Sangeet is a music of Sikh community which was formed in 15th century. This music concert is a unique and very first of its own in the world to feature and explore this music genre which almost extinct. This program not only give chance to the Sikh community of New Zealand to educate their kids about their heritage but also research the genre and support Sikh community.
